ResearchPlenty of research is currently being done to help better understand this disorder and help find ways to cure it. Researchers actually found dysfunctional gene to stimulate bone growth in mice with dwarfism. The french scientists have discovered that using a decoy version of the proteins prevented achondroplasia in mice. This brings scientists and researches one step closer to finding a proper cure.
